I remember the end of it too. Affirmative action promoted folks with a lower score than I had on promotion lists. Equality was enforced and the real racist died out. It was a turbulent time and had riots, killings and discord but the fight was won 50 years ago by level headed people. Now 50 years later the Government has resurrected those old ugly feelings and are promoting a new generation of hate. If every there was a time for impeachment it is now. Throw out all the politicians who even mention racism, because they are lying dog face pony soldiers. Nuff said.
