Rip Currents I just watched a video of some fishermen rescuing two young women who had been swept out to sea in a rip current. While many surfers use them to get out into the lineup, they can be very dangerous for the uninitiated. There are steps one can take to avoid rips and steps to take if one is caught up in one. Know before you go what to look for. Stay safe!!
