Swirling Vortex

As liberty lovers watch those who would rule us use any means necessary to capture the presidency and the U.S. Senate, I see much anxiety and anger among my fellow Texans. I will admit that I feel it, too. But, I think I may feel those emotions less intensely than many because this group has been preparing for the eventuality of a wacko-crazy communist takeover of the federal government for a long time, now. We think we have a way for Texans to resist the federal tyranny that could come and win our liberty back. Although we have been focusing on the betrayals by Texas elected officials of the Texas Constitution as of late, this group started because we think we have a way for the Lone Star State, all by its lonesome if necessary, to stop the feds from violating the rights of Texans, and therefore blunt the worst damage the totalitarians who are trying to steal the levers of power in DC. I want that plan of action to have the best chance of success possible. I recognize that the Texas Legislature and the governor are not attuned to thinking the way we do. But if the federal situation turns out to be as dire as we think, we have a better shot at persuading them to protect us than we do in changing DC. A number of you have already said we need to be lobbying the legislature for secession. Please read this link for why I think we should try constitutional enforcement first. (https://www.txce.org/secession ) I think it much more difficult to persuade this legislature to secede or even put it up for a vote than it will be for them to try constitutional enforcement. When you stand up to the federal bully, what happens next depends on the bully. He can back down or double down. If he backs down, we win our liberty back. If he doubles down, he takes Texas down the road to secession. But you need to stand up to the bully with constitutional enforcement first. If our worst fears of theft of the federal government by the commies are realized, I hope you will join me in the next logical action - persuading our state, county, and local officials to honor their oaths, exercise independent judgment about constitutional meaning, and have the courage to use the powers of their office to protect the liberty of Texans from the federal tyrants.
