5%-8% of people tested turn up positive according to Ontario govt website. If this was the case you'd run out of testers every day (after every approx. 20 tests given each tester would have been exposed to a person who tested positive). If every tester that came into contact with a positive and then had to go into quarantine for 2 weeks there would be a serious shortage of testers.
